I'll start.

Dragon Warrior. it's an incredibly fun game with an expansive map and cool enemies.

as a little kid, I was scared of the music... stupid kid...

Ufouria is my favorite NES game ever. It's got some great graphics, great music and some really fun gameplay on par with Metroid. I love it.

Final Fantasy 2, rather underrated in my opinion, a lot of fun and an interesting, if sometimes annoying levelup system

a tie between The Legend of Zelda and Dragon Warriors.
two great rpgs w/ great storylines but crappy sequels. i hated The Adventure of Link and Dragon Warriors 2.
