Thank you does not express how thankful I am. Even though I found it shortly after I posted this thread. Either way thanks for the help. I've been trying to load the patch through usb loader gx without success- when I try to switch the .dol I get black screen at start. Any chance you an easy fix? Thanks again man.

Not got the game or the dol but imagine you just install the game as normal use the alt dol option in USB Loader GX
Goes something like
Store the dol file in the correct path
SD or USB
apps/usbloader_gx/dol/gamecode.dol
STGJAF.dol should be the name for this game
Note: you can set custom paths for the dol patches in USB Loader GX to just about anything you like, in the normal settings (cog menu, last tab under custom paths)
Personally I have everything setup from usb and nothing from SD
Setting up USB Loader GX
Select the game (do not start it)
Hit Settings
Hit Game Load
Scroll down to the bottom of the list of options
Change Alternate Dol from Default to Load from SD/USB
Hit Save

if i remember correctly "bugfix" version of graces require crevox 0.4 patch(i cannot find this patch any more tho)
while original bugged uses 0.8
u might also need to change system locale to Japan to boot.

I could upload my copy "Tales of Graces - BugFixes Edition (J) [T+Eng0.4_Crevox].iso", if anybody needs it?
But IcemanSR also shared both available patches, the youtube video still has the v0.8 patch for the original game on mediafire. I only kept the bug fixed edition, because it's superior to the original game, so no need for v0.8.
