Red face JPCSP Refuses to Run on Mac / El Capitan [HELP]

I just "installed" JPCSP to play a PSP game that I have been dying to play (that I was delighted to see available).

However, JPCSP refuses to run. Without Java (I guess?) that is. But, I have the latest Java installed and running on my Mac OS (or so FireFox tells me).

But when I try to "open" it, I get this annoying window.

Did I do something wrong? I installed Java, so it "should work". I cannot for the life for me can figure out why it isn't responding correctly.

What can I do to fix this!? (I just want to play an anime game).

PPSSPP is what you want to use not JPCSP.

Well, it got past the Java situation. However, it won't open due to an "unknown error"

Has there been an update to the latest to fix this unknown problem? Or did I do something wrong? [I just downloaded, installed, and tried to open it].

    But thank you so much!

JPCSP is not a good emulator for playing, its good from a debugging standpoint but actual playability is not happening.

Use PPSSPP as I mentioned before as JPCSP is not worth your time.

Oh my god, I'm an idiot. I didn't do the last step (the homebrew/terminal). So I apologize for that.

    Thank you so much!
