PS2 Slim (matrix infinity): "prohibited" screen on PSX game

Hi guys, i'm burning a lot of iso's from emuparadise (more than 100). Not only PSX but also PS2!

I'm using alcohol 120% for psx (4x - DAO RAW) and imgburn for ps2 (4x) and everything is working just fine...

BUT, there is one game (dino crisis usa) that keeps showing one strange screen after the ""PLAYSTATION" logo.

First i think that the ISO was crashed, but it happens again with other game (wild arms 2 - disk 2 usa),

and after a few tries the game worked (only wild arms 2).

I probably will search for another Dino Crisis Iso and burn again, but i'm very curious about this screen.

Anyone else has this problem?

If you're seeing disc 2 issues make sure you have the PSX Multi Disk option turned on in Matrix Infinity menu.

P.S. you can use imgburn for PSX as well as PS2 (You can use it for all console CD/DVD burning) Alcohol never done anything special for PSX games ever, essentially it just uses default options that every other burning software uses

Dino Crisis does have anti mod protection (basically the screen you are seeing) but can be patched, see attached for patch

You may want to grab a more modern version of a PPF patcher like ppf-o-matic, the one provided is an olde dos style one
