Unhappy psp, and psp iso roms.

Im using a physical psp with cfw. psx2psp games i have no issues 99% of the time. one game in 20 i cant unzip right to get the eboot and folder. but with psp iso games i can not figure out the correct way to unzip to play. even though i find the boot and eboot. i have read and followed several " this is how you do it" videos and steps. but nothing works. Please help.

PSP .iso games are .iso images, there isn't an eboot.
    What CFW are you using?

Are you trying to put the .iso games in the same place you put eboots?

The .iso images go in a folder called ISO that is on the root directory of your memory stick (or memory stick adaptor with 1 or 2X micro SD cards).
Do not have the ISO folder inside GAME folder or anywhere else but on the root on the memory stick.

Also, for extracting archives I suspect you are getting a split archive inside a single archive. This is common when distributing original scene releases.
With the split archive, just extract from the first part (sometimes it might be the .rar file while the others have part numbers).

    No not MP_ROOT.
Do you understand what the root directory of a hard drive or memory card is?

Yes that is a split archive. All parts but the last part are the same size (last part is always smaller).
Extract from the first part only.

Well a dual micro SD card adaptor is worth about $1 then you can use 2 micro SD cards of like 8 or 16GB each. SD cards are much cheaper, so you end up with a huge amount of space for games.

Yes, MP-ROOT folder, PSP folder and some other folders (maybe VIDEO) are on the root directory. You need to have an ISO folder in that same directory.

PSP/GAME is for eboots and maybe DLC content.

.cso images can go in the ISO folder too.

When i unzip the main i get many more. then i unzip the first and it gives me yet another zip file. unzip it i get a folder called PSP_GAME with a second file called UMD_DATA its a bin file. then inside the psp folder i have 2 more folders some images and more files. is this the one i need to put on the card itsself?

So i need a folder on root that just says ISO? then what?

If you're using winrar then you're trying to extract the .iso image itself. By default winrar has this stupid thing where it associates itself with iso files, so you see a rar icon for them and get all confused.
Use 7zip as an archive manager, it's totally free.

That ISO folder is where you put all your .iso and .cso game images (inside that folder). All iso/cso images should have different filenames so they don't need special extra folders inside there.
