Yeah I wouldn't want to play PSP on anything bigger than 30 inches, preferably a little less.

The one Gyp got for free has got it iirc, but the one I have (32") is just 576/480i. Not that I really care because the tube and speakers are awesome anyway (and it's PAL/NTSC/SECAM).
I have 1080p lcd for anything else.
Yeah it has HD inputs too. Pretty sure it displays in 720 but I don't use it for anything terribly new.

Mine has on the back: 4x composite, 1x component, 1x s-video, 1x coaxial (aerial).
    Front: 1x composite, 1x s-video, 1x headphone.

Has yours got TruSurround on the front anywhere?

The Wii is easily the newest system I have on it. Everything else is at least 1 gen back from that. Xbox looks good on it.

I think it does man. I could be wrong but for some reason I think you might've posted the model number for me and I looked it up. It's 720p capable, basically the same unit as mine but top tier (mine is like one step down).

I asked Shar and it does 720. And yeah...this tv was lol-tier when it came out. The MSRP on it was bonkers. It has 7 total inputs iirc which is nice and it let me disable the ones I wasn't using so I have less to cycle through when switching with the remote.

Even mine was a stupid price originally. I didn't get the remote with mine but it's easy to get heaps of remotes to work with those tvs.
I think I have 3 or 4 that work with it, including a PS2 remote.

Yeah the person I got it from took great care of it so I have the manual and remote. The remote for it is completely crazy and even flips open for more buttons.

You are right though, lots of Sony remotes work with other Sony stuff. The remote for my surround sound works with all my Sony TVs and a Sony DVD player I have.

My surround remotes are Yamaha I think one can switch the Sony on and off from standby, adjust volume and that's all.

Probably should upgrade the surround soon too. Not sure if I'll get another Yamaha or maybe an Onkyo receiver

    Mr Moneybucks.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

I'm not talking about a top tier unit because the prices are insane. I just go for quality brand receivers.

And I don't need speakers, got enough decent ones to make up to 7.2 at least I think.
