    Question Rom title questions?

Hi guys, I have a question about the titles in some the roms I find, particularly the No-Intro ones.

I know what the country codes mean (U/E/J/etc), but I also run into things like (Unl), (Proto), (RevA) and (RevB). What do these mean?

    Unlicensed,Prototype,Revision A,Revision B.

Revisions are re releases with slight alterations.

Zelda OoT has censoring and bug fixes in the 2nd and 3rd releases.

Thanks guys. Umm.. what is 'unlicensed' supposed to mean? Aren't they supposed to be licensed?

Yes, but there are certain games, such as a very rare and valuable version of Tetris made by Tengen, that were made without being properly licensed.

Tengen had the rights to publish Tetris but they did not have the license to publish them on Nintendo hardware.

    Just to Clarify.

Just because I like Game Sack, I'll post:
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
