Default Wii Genesis Plus GX: Master System emulation keeps going left.

I decided to add Master System games and the bios onto my Wii, but when I play a Master System game, it decides to go left, even without touching a button. I have checked the cable for my Gamecube controller and it is OK. but WHAT IS THE ISSUE?

You need to change the controller type to MS 2 button.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
