I'm not exactly sure how familiar anyone here is with the Kid-vid module for the Atari 2600, but it was a little tape player you hooked up to the thing and it would play tapes to give sound to certain parts of games, and only two games were compatible with it.
Recently I discovered that Kid-Vid games can be properly emulated with the Z26 emulator. However, I've run into a snag. When I try to emulate the game, there's a really annoying, really high-pitched tone that plays over the audio. I can't stand it! And it hurts my ears!
I'm not sure if I can link the downloads for the kid-vid audio files here, but I'm sure if you google "Bernstein Bears Atari 2600" the first result should be where I downloaded them from, the website should be AtariAge. (I know I should probably post about it there but my account needs to be reviewed before I can post and I'm not sure how long it will take.) You are welcome to try and figure out if you're willing.
If it helps, I'm running the emulator and a Windows 7 laptop that has had no previous issues with emulation, I have no problems with my sound card.
