Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen Stuck in Oracle's Cave

I am stuck in the cave of the Oracle. I just talked to him and walked out of his
room. I got the Incapacitate spell and walked into the next few rooms. I can't
get past the 2 rocks right before the savepoint near the exit. This Spot.

I've seen youtube videos where people just push these rocks, but I can't move
them at all. I changed my armor and weapons, but that had no effect. I can't break
or jump over the rocks either. I figured this might be an emulation error or I'm missing
something I should have by this point in the game.

In case anyone else was stuck here, It turns out I was missing a strength upgrade.
It was located here: cave near Nachtholm, I think. You need the wolf form to get it.

A friend of mine could never get this working properly on his epsxe emulator as it would get to a certain line involving the word "Respite" right at the beginning when you start out during a moment of dialogue. It would get stuck inside a continuous loop and never go beyond. That line would remain etched into my mates brain forever in close association with the frustration of never being able to fully go back and replay it from his childhood days.
