    Default Dolphin Slow motion issues

Recently when I try to play SSBM, the game plays at around 1/10 speed, the game has worked for months before this. I have tried redownloading Dolphin, but that didn't change anything. It is the same slow motion on my SSBM rom and my 20XX rom.
My PC has an FX-8350 and an HD7870 so I don't think I'm underpowered. Can anyone offer any help?

CPU plays a big part in emulation, Graphics is a secondary requirment

https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/performance-guide/ and https://dolphin-emu.org/compat/ are worth looking at though the second one is important also as some games do need certain settings to run smoothly/fix or minimize bugs
