Default VLC media files for PS2

    Hello there!
Well, first of all I want to apologize for a few things: I'm new in this forum, and inexpert in formums in general. For this reason, I don`t know if I this post is in the correct place. And, obiously, sorry for my poor english.

My question is very simple: I just started to download ps2 ISOs, beacuse I love retrogaming and I think ps2 is one of the best consoles ever. There are a lot of great titles that scaped from me when the console was in his popularity peak.
I have downloaded several games without problems, but, in the last one, when I decompressed the file, instead of the typical ISO file, it appeared a VLC media file. As it is the first time I see this kind of file, I don´t know if it will work or not when I burn into a DVD.
Can anybody give me any information or solution?

    Thank you very much.

So what's exactly the file Extension? .iso or .bin or what? Because vlc let's it look like it will play these files (.bin) Do you have an ps2 emu on PC? You can try it first with the emulator before Burning .

    Thanks for answer!
The file extensions are .bin and .cue.
I don`t have ps2 emu. I burn ISO files into a dvd for using its in a Physical PS2 console (yes, it is still alive)
I think I've found the solution: If the file size is small, the file can be burn in a CD instead in a DVD. I've readed if you try to burn a .cue file in a DVD it won't work correctly.
If anyone knows something about this matter, please tell us. The information can be useful for me (of course) and for other users!
Thanks a lot and, again, sorrt for my bad english.

The .bin file contains the actual game disc data, the .cue contains additional info about what type of disc the .bin was ripped from. Usually you'll want to select the .cue file when burning your disc, so that it burns the data from the .bin file correctly. This is true for both CD and DVD rips.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
