This morning I woke up in a sadist mood, saw that school was canceled for snow, then went to do a little Googling. Here's a few methods of torture that Google mentioned, and some of them are fairly excruciating both in pain and bizarreness. Check these out;

1) Scaphism- Person is tied naked on a boat after being pumped full of milk and honey, inducing severe diarrhea. Then, they're set afloat in a stagnant pond and coated with honey in various places on the body (...). After a while, the crap and honey starts to attract bugs, which then start to feed off the person and lay their eggs inside the flesh. When said eggs hatch, it can get a bit more gruesome.

2) The Pear- Method of torture depends on victim sex, orientation, and crime.

Women who slept with Satan (or equivalent)- Pear-shaped object inserted into vagina, corkscrew at other end was rotated to open 3 razor-bladed petals from the pear.

Men who slept with men- Pear-shaped object inserted into anus, corkscrew at other end rotated to force 3 razor petals open.

Heretics- Pear-shaped object inserted into mouth, corkscrew rotated as above.

3) The Iron Maiden- PortaPotty-sized chamber with the outside decorated like a maiden's body. Inside, the victim was impaled through the eyes, chest, and face with spikes on the inside of the Maiden and its door when the door was closed.

4) The Headcrusher- Metal cap, corkscrew, and steel plate. Victim's head placed between metal cap and steel plate, corkscrew turned to force the cap downward towards the plate. Victim's head is crushed this way, with such pleasant details as eye poppage, teeth shatterage, and their remaining conscious throughout the entire process.

5) Two-Man Saw- Victim stripped naked with their arms behind them and strung up by their feet. Two men then take a large saw to cut you in half (vertically), beginning at the groin. With the victim upside down, they could be kept alive until the saw hit the heart due to the concentration of blood to the upper torso.

6) Crocodile Shears- Two cut halves of a tube with spikes on the inside. Spikes are heated, then clamped onto the victim's penis and pulled away slowly. This ripped the member off its former owner, and death from this method was very rare.

7) Rat Torture- Rats are placed on the victim's bare abdomen, covered by a bucket, and agitated when the inquisitor heats the top of the bucket. Thus, the rats chew their way out through the victim.
