Ok, I found the issue.
The problem was the iso itself, I just downloaded another one and I can now hear the sound in cutscenes.
No french translation, though. :(

Thanks for the answer, I tried running the .cue but there was still no sound during the opening cutscene.
I'm using Pete's OpenGL Driver & epSxe SPU core as it says on the website but no success.....
