Im running into the same problem. Your easiest and most reliable idea is a ps2 with free mcboot and openps2loader or other programs like hdloader, usb advance etc.

For those just starting out i recommend just clicking fast or nice in the bottom lefthand corner for the preset video configuration

jdownloader will attempt to extract them and put them back together.
for 7zip right click
go to 7zip
and pick where you want to extract it to.
