Yeah, I can only assume at this point that something's either wrong with the memory stick or something's wrong with the USB wire I'm using, as literally everything I try to run from the XMB comes...
Did, same deal. Deleted everything, formatted it through the XMB, made a new Update folder, put the Eboot in. Game could not be started.
Errrrr, okay, even the update didn't work. Downloaded 6.60 OFW, into the Update folder, click from the menu. "The game could not be started (80020148)."
So I have a fat PSP 1001 that I've been using for emulation purposes since dinosaurs walked the Earth. I believe I originally hacked it with the Patapon exploit, then somehow or another got to...
Aha, I figured out the problem. NeoGamma reformatted my USB drive to FAT32 when I first used it...but for whatever reason, it set the clusters to 4k instead of 32k. Went and formatted the drive...
I am using DIOS MIOS 1.8. Taking the Twin Snakes ISO from various sources (I've tried pretty much all of the versions hosted here on Emuparadise, as well as a few others), running them through DiscEx...
I have no idea. Halfway suspected my ISO was bad, so I grabbed the game from another source. Nope, same problem. Skipping audio on the title screen, and the first Codec call locks everything. The...
So Googling the problem, it seems that Dios Mios doesn't actually work with the latest version of USB Loader GX. You'd have to download a beta version. Which I did, tried to play Twin Snakes. This...
I'm curious about this as well. I have USB Loader GX installed along with Dios Mios 2.8, but it seems to want to fight with me when it comes to running Gamecube games off the USB (namely, I get to...
Cleared Thief 3, which was preceded by clearing Thief 2 and Thief 1. Fun stuff, though it gets kind of annoying that Garrett can't knock out a skinny townswoman with repeated blows to the head if...
In my experience, Chrono Cross is just a complete pain in the butt to emulate, for whatever reason. I never could get it working on my PSP, and Epsxe required Daemon Tools hoop jumping to get past...
I've never had any problems running games before this one, so it's puzzled me as well. Halfway tempted to buy Chrono Cross off of PSN and see if that works, but I really don't want to spend 10 bucks...
Same thing. Playstation logo, Square logo, black screen until I quit the game
I shall try it. But how does making an eboot of disk 1 handle the eventual swap over to disk 2?
Edit: And...it black screens after the Square logo under 3.72, like the first eboot I tried. Bah
It could be that it's yet another bad eboot (I found it as an eboot, not an ISO). If so, that would make three Chrono Cross eboots I found that were bad, which would be some astonishingly bad luck....
Kind of worked, kind of didn't. The pops files installed fine. Trying 3.90 though landed me another Mama Komodo freeze. Maybe I just need to mess around with it until I find a pops that actually...
Yeah, clearing everything was the first thing I tried. Nothing doing. Your second tutorial link worked, but nothing else. Can't even ping the server.
Looking at it, I might need version 2 of...
Hm, I'm now inclined to think my internet is just behaving weirdly. I can't connect to your link, I can't hit certain download links on this site. Hitting the Download Below link to that emulator...
Yeah, I use mine to play emulators and eboots. Much as I'd like to play Chrono Cross on the go, I wouldn't want to lose my SNES emulator for it ;)
Link seems to be broken. Trying it through 6.39 POPS got the game to start, but it froze again on Mama Komodo. Bah
Looking at it some more, it seems the only reliable way to get Chrono Cross to...
I installed it, got as far as the menu for selecting your POPS, but any choice after that boots me out with a 'The game could not be started 80000004' error. Is there something I'm missing?
So I got a bug to play Chrono Cross recently on my hacked PSP (running 6.20 Pro-B for custom firmware). Unfortunately, it seems this game has all kinds of woes with actually getting it to work. First...
A sequel to Planescape. Would have said a sequel to Shadowrun, but apparently that's actually happening thanks to Kickstarter
Nope. 100% general failure
Weird. I've tried it on Firefox and IE, and nothing doing. Going from the front page, it gets as far as the captcha, but the direct link won't connect
