I have no issues with most PS2 games for long periods but some of the earlier stuff can be sketchy.

Also, my eyes are shitty as is and playing early 3D puts a strain on them. I am revisiting Legend of Dragoon but I have to play it in small bursts because of my eyes.

Sure they are, they just don't really work and take forever to dl on ps3. I really like the ps3 overall but man those dl times and those from disc install times.

Low polygon count 3-D is really painful to look at now. I prefer 8-bit to 3-D heavy PS1/Saturn games. 2D is great on the Saturn and pre-rendered stuff is solid on the PS1.

At least with PC the patches were free. :pwacko:

And I know some console games get patched, just usually not very well from my experiences with it.

Yeah while maybe not 3 hours games like Uncharted, Enslaved etc are quite short. You can find longer older games as well. But yeah I'm not delusional enough to think that old games are better value....

I actually can't play Sapphire on my system because I'm not going to get an Arcade Card for 2 games.

If only it were possible to get PCE for cheap. Though I have mostly been making offers and trades which has helped.
