The game's a prequel that has little to nothing to do with the comic.

If anything reading the comic first would take a bit of sting out of certain bits of the game.

You can teleport, just walk to one of the teleporters (like the one at the end of the intro level). I think they have a clearly labelled teleport room somewhere in the base (lower level I believe?) ...

Not just hard but kinda grindy too.

Also, very very luck based because super low drop rates are a great thing.

It does. The first daddy or two is a huge pain in the ass, but once you get past that bit you're pretty much good. With all the upgrade shops, passive abilities, and good plasmids lying about you can...

There's less strategy involved than either of the other games listed (which is weird as you'd think the strategy game would outpace the tactical ones) and the plot really didn't deliver on anything...

The biggest problem I had with it was how many times they rehash that Orochi fight.

You pretty much fight him twice in a row at one point.

The boss fights could have been a wee bit better...

Not really. The PC versions of the GR games play hugely different from their console versions.

Also the game removed a lot of the control that was present in the latter SoT games.

Platforming and combat were both more or less reduced to promptless QTEs.
