For anime music I go to animeacademyradio.net it has a pretty good selection.
For video game music I go to vgamp.

Never found any good hip-hop/rap places.

I remember there being a robot in the FIRST Saga Frontier.
It also fits a lot of the OC's descriptions, don't have a screenshot though.

For the PC? There is one... but it doesn't play commercial games. Don't think it ever will.

About the isos (PSP) not running, do you have a UMD in the drive?

If not then you should have the no-umd feature enabled in the recovery menu.
