That's a good question. I have never played a Batman game before this one, so I really don't know what I was expecting. Had it not been $5 and had such a high Metascore, I wouldn't be playing this...

I recently started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on OnLive. Is there really nothing more to this game than watching cutscenes and pressing X to beat people up?

I sincerely hope so.

I played the 30 minute demo on OnLive, and I have to say, it was fun. "Kids" today have little idea what it was to play the original, so they have nothing to compare it to except games it should not...
