i use a ps3 bluetooth controller on my pc.it requires a little joypad program called "motioninjoy" to configure
the buttons.once thats done just select the controller in mame or any other pc game...

or you could go the floppy emulation route.buy a bit of kit like this

freedos does support usb up to 512mb.anything bigger it wont touch.as for my dvd drive,it reads cd's but wont read a dvd.
faulty laser i'm guessing.does the same in windows.

thanks but its an amiga now.i not only had problems with the sound card but the dvd drive will only read cd's.
it wouldnt read usb either in dos but is ok with windows.i'll have another go at dos on...

mind you,i have only copied around 100 xbox games out of the nearly 1000 catalogue.
probably more with jap titles.jap and sport games i dont bother with.

strange,never had a problem with dvd2xbox myself.i must have copied 50 to 60 backups and 30 or so originals that way.
guess i was lucky not to pick the games with problems.

the best way is to copy the game to xbox hdd using dvd2xbox then ftp back to your pc and make an iso from the folder contents.
or just download the game from here and burn the iso.

i usually just set the resolution to 800x600 on my display.then back again when finished.

gotta admit,xbox is the best console for modding and emulators.so easy to do compared with 360.psp being the second best.

cannon fodder on my amiga dedicated p4 windows xp setup.

afraid ps2 emulation rather sucks on pc.i have a quad core 3.9ghz with 8gb ram and it still runs very sluggish.
weird though,gamecube and wii run like a dream.

got freedos installed and using gem interface.hdd is only 40gb so no problem there,formatted it to fat32.upgraded the ram a while back to 2gb.
now i just have to figure out how to install a game...

once you get an original copy of splinter cell etc the hardest part is getting downloaded exploit files onto the memory stick...this is easily done by using a program called explore360....once files...

dont know if you figured it out yet but xplorer360 will read your mu and let you put the exploit files on for copying to xbox.i did it under windows vista.
