So I haven't played on a PS emulator for a bit now and previously used ePSXe 1.9.25. I then learned that there was a later version of ePSXe in the form of 2.0.5 and configured it to what I assumed...
No. I got the nib file from here. It was then I found out that Vice couldn't read these file extensions so I Googled it and then I learned about Nibtools. It was after that, I learned that it doesn't...
So I was reading online about nibtools that converts the nib floppy files to be readable in a C64 emulator. What I also read was that you need an old computer to get the thing to convert the files....
I must've forgotten about muting it through the volume mixer, as it was muted on that. Thanks. :)
I'm having some sound issues with MAME, as in there is no sound output. I've never had issues when I last opened MAME a week ago. The MAME I'm running is the UI32 0.166 version of the emulator. Also...
Thank you for the help Jackhammer
That's what lead me to creating the thread in the first place.
There were only two files. One was a .txt and the other .PAR2. So I downloaded everything there.

I was meaning the layout of QuickPar.
I tried following that the first time, but my QuickPar doesn't look like that.
So I don't know if it's an issue related to the site or the user that posted the game, but when I downloaded Klonoa, I don't think I downloaded the game. I extracted the files into one, and got some...
Okay I tried the newest version and it works. Still just to state on record, ePSXe never mentioned any errors, just the usually thing in windows where it says it's stopped working. I'm still curious...
Started again with the whole ePSXe emulator, and every time I try to run the game I've downloaded, it crashes. The game is in a .img file. Also here is what I've got Pete's Open GL Driver 1.77...
Thank you once again. I'm curious though, how come when I went to audit the games, it didn't come up with the missing files, but said Romset not found?
I just come across another problem. I'm trying to run two Namco classics, Galaga and Dig Dug. With both of them, it's saying when I click on the audit, Romset not found and when I did try and load...
Right thank you for the help. Also Emuparadise is also a good help when you go to downloading the game, because it tells you about the parent and chd files it needs
So I want to ask some more things, just to make things more clear for me. When downloading an arcade game, do you always need the parent ROM? I've done this just a moment ago, but just wanted to ask...
Right I don't know if this image helps you see what type of MAME I'm using but here it is.

Also like I said I downloaded...
So I want to start playing arcade games on my PC, and I've known about MAME for years. So over the course of knowing about MAME, I've only been able to get one game running and that was Michael...
Can I please have some more help with this?
I just looked at it with ePSXe 1.9.0, well a later version, 1.9.25, and there's still an issue. When I load the cue file, the emulator is giving me an error. It says "ePSXe (error) recompile blcok...
So then how would I go about using the cue file with Castlevania?
^I don't think I understand any of that.
