Star Ocean 2nd Story is my all-time favorite RPG. :)
Yeah, I forgot Paper Mario. >_>; Crap. I was used to hearing there were only two N64 RPGs before Aiden Chronicles came out, at the end of the console's life. I remembered the factiod but not the...
There are only two RPG's on the N64. :P Not hard to name those. Quest 64 and Aiden Chronicles (I think that's the name of it). The closest thing to an RPG besides those are Mario Party games. :P ...
Shining Force 2 on the Genesis was a great tactical RPG. There are lots of games in the "Shining" series, on sega systems and recently a couple on the GBA. SF2 is the only one I've ever owned,...
Call of Cthulhu, The Suffering (not really that unknown :P), Fiend (2d freeware game made by the people behind Penumbra), The original Alien Vs. Predator (no seriously. It'll fuck you up), System...
Deus Ex, Red Faction, Alien vs Predator, Incredible Machine (puzzle game), Diablo, The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall (second game in the series), maybe Morrowind, it's not too expensive, not sure how...
Silent Hill made you laugh your first time through? O_o
Oh, A Bard's Tale is supposed to be funny.
Silent Hill. Hillarious!
Conker's Bad Fur Day. Action/Platformer on the N64. :O
The Castlevanias as you've mentioned, the Metroids, the Advanced Wars (There are two, I think), Final Fantasy Tactics: Advanced is alright, you like RPGs so you'd dig it (It doesn't live up to FFT on...
Cave Story. http://agtp.romhack.net/project.php?id=cavestory
Or, any metroid game.
They ain't around for me no mores. :(
Runescape and Imperium are free browser based ones. Runescape is absolute shit, but Imperium is good fun (as long as a giant country isn't shitting all over yours because they're bored)....
I have Freedom Fighters, and I agree, it's an amazing game. :) I've also got Gunz, but yesterday Gunz and Gunbound both stopped working for some reason. :( Grah.
I'll try out Dead to Rights, The...
SO.
Somebody recommend me a good PC Third person shooter, like Max Payne.
No no, the game natively supports a USB controller. :P It's another good point of the game, along with the music and gameplay.
*cough* Well, nobody else is talking about anything in here.
>_> ...
I don't mind the graphical style, really, just the low res in full screen. >_> Don't need to go THAT far to emulate the MSX. :P I'll try Alt+Enter.
Oh, another good point: Controller support! :D I...
Mm, Dak'kon, the game looks good. :D I'm always a fan of puzzles and traps and such... as long as you don't take a "Prince of Persia" route. Hated that game. >_>;
Downloading it now. :D Thanks!...
the first link google displays for that game is a torrent link.
lol.
Was Harmony of Dissonance the one with the cards for the spells? That one was good. Not as good as Aria of Sorrow, though.
The thing that most gets me about the old-school Castlevanias is the lack...
So, are there any more Castlevanias in the metroid style of SOTN and the handheld games? I feel like playing another castlevania, but I don't really like the style of the first games (straight...
I preferred playing as Mint to playing as Musashi. ;) Wee magic! Ring weapon thingies! Smartass comments! :D
The only problem with Fate is how damn short the game is.
Threads of Fate beats the crap out of Musashi. :| The characters are better, the story is better, and the music in Threads of Fate is AMAZING.
There was something about a demon! :O
And hey, there were hard parts of Musashi. >_> Those damn steam pipe parts. I finished that both times with about a second and a half left on the timer. :(...
I like Brave Fencer Musashi. ._. It doesn't live up to the standards of a typical Square game, but it's still good on it's own right. It's simple brainless fun. ^_^ And the action figures are a great...
