Is there a way to get the PS2 emulator pcsx2 to run PSone roms?

I'm useing ePSXe 1.6.0.

Whenever I play the Crono Cross ISO it works fine until I get to the screen that says New Game or Continue.I press New game and the screen goes black and does nothing. What can I do?

When I play the game there is no soundtrack!
All the sound effects like getting hit and monsters are all there,
But the music is not there. Can I get some help?

Are there playstion controllers for PC? I have just downloaded
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and I wan't to know if there is a
way to play without the keyboard.
