Gotta be Dark Souls!

A lot of people seem to really like Limbo, but I thought it was boring and had really poor checkpointing.

Never broken one completely, but tried my hardest when I lost some 50k souls on a retrieval run at the end of a length Dark Souls session. It seemed like a lot at the time...

"Suffer...like G did?" from House of the Dead 2. It's not intended to sound like a question but the voice acting is all over the place in that game, so it does, and it makes me laugh every time.
