Depends on the event, as those seasonal/holiday events have been done since Destiny 1 launch, they actually built them into the lore of the game. Which is hilarious because this year they just didn't...

It isn't even the microtransactions that caused the major problems with this game, they definitely are a factor, but are more like the top layer/icing on the cake if anything.

People are just excited they are even doing stuff like balance changes to that old of a game. Giving people hope for a remaster.
