The harsher, more blastbeat-heavy black metal bands (Marduk, Antaeus, etc) appeal to DM fans fairly often, but I've found that bands more in the Burzum mold appeal to Doom fans more often than Death...
I can't really see WITTR appealing to DM fans any more than BM bands in general do. It's pretty typical for the droning, Burzum-derived style.
