And hdloader to boot the games from your HD, also you will be needing the Winhip program to add the isos to the HD (previously speciallly formatted for the ps2)

Won't work, you'll have to edit the table where the STS amd the .XAS files are.

Btw you should stay way from any disc that gives trouble to your ps2 (heavy load times,strange noises...),never tried a "transparent" dvd or cd, but i should say that my first ps2 burned a "Princo"...

Well i don`t recomend to burn the games with alcohol program (just my opinion), sometimes creates/burn erroneus sectors in the disk,burned myself MGS3 with nero in a verbarim DVD+R without any...

Yep also check on your verbatim dvd label, has to say "Developed by Mitsubishi Corp" y just found myself some that were under the vebatim trademark and it was a total lie, sometimes verbatim orders...
