I managed to get a game enhancer (the grey one). from a local store. It says modchips.com on it. However I got no manual or anything with it. How would I use it to play foreign games/burned copies?

Id rather use a bootdisc. The swap method seems a bit dangerous.

What bootdisc should I try?/where could I get it?

I was told that if I bought a psone and used a gameshark it would let me boot up foreign/burned games. Bought a psone with gameshark version 5. unfortunately I get a bad disc error with foreign and...

Update. Running it when it's mounted DOES work. Whether that changes anything I have no idea. Does anyone else reckon copying my virtual drive would work?

Ok. Managed to test it in epsxe. Works ok, though sound is a little dodgy (Im fairly sure thats my sound card). This leads me to assume that the problem is my media.

Can someone recommend a good...

It looks like the original ISO works on epsxe. I'm guessing my media is the problem. What media should I use to burn onto?

EDIT: Well actually it works if I "run ISO" but when I mount the image...

Downloaded it from here a day or so ago. Have burned it using several methods/speeds w/memorex discs. No dice. Goes to the PS logo.

Used CD mage on the 1st .img and it found 150 dodgy sectors,...

I still can't find where to get the damn BIOS for it anyway.

Four games now. I've used the converter to change the region and all of them freeze when loading up.

Has anyone here (from Europe) managed to succeed in this area?

I've used this program twice on games I got from that massive Sega CD torrent to convert them to Euro.

Both times they didn't work.

Is there something I'm missing?
