yeah those would suck, but I mean there's only A and B on the N64 controller. There's still 2 more on the Playstation and Xbox controllers. Triangle and Circle, and Y and B I guess.

Yeah starting to think that may have been the games I did that for. Might have to load one up some time and have a look.

Plus there's 2 extra face buttons aren't there on a sony or Xbox controller. Lotsa options I suppose.

plus there's another set behind them if it does, L2 and R2. Z button would generally be mapped to R1 kinda like the GC controller. Or select if I do something funky like the L/R thing.

Depending on the game you can always switch it around with the d-pad. I mapped the left and right C buttons to the left and right bumpers/ L1 and R1 once lol. Can't remember what game it was. Damn...

I've been doing the same with 360/Xbone controllers and never had a problem either.

Yeah you can. You can also use something like Xpadder and really fine tune things like the analog to more of a digital button press sort of deal.

Well I always have pacifist mode on. Don't think other players can harm my base. Maybe with area effect stuff like grenades maybe? It's never come up. Seriously.
