I should probably open up all my Xboxes and remove those.
Thanks for the advice :really:.
It should be fine for that. A new RP4 kit runs around $50 - $100+ but I wouldn't advise getting the 2GB unless you're trying to spend as little as possible.
I don't think an RP is worth it unless you have a specific purpose in mind or you can get a kit for cheap.
I've fiddled with some old boards from Beta players but trying to remove caps with braid didn't go over well. Should I be cutting the caps off first and then removing the dead legs :thot:?
Two times the PSO ?
I was looking into getting one but I ended up buying a NUC. The Pi seems alright as an emulator box or a task machine but not for general purpose use.
Good to know, thanks.
The cheap plunger ones. I presume an actual desoldering station is good but they're expensive.
Your thoughts on cheap solder pumps?
I'd say don't then. The temps here are supposed to drop to mostly upper 80s and a couple days of low 90s for a while. An improvement over the upper 90s :D. I bought a capture card on Ebay and I'll...
Get well soon, DL.
:revwacko:
:bipolar:
Most of the time someone asks half the going rate (or more) for a working system and expects you to think it's a good deal .
I don't know what the exchange rate is right now but that sounds about as dumb as it is here. I've only gotten okay deals on as-is stuff a few times.
How bad? I'm only willing to take a shot on broken or as-is stuff if it's very cheap. People usually ask way too much for their junk.
Sony's systems tend to have one issue or another .
Good to know, thanks. I think most of my PS2s are 39 but I should have a 50 or two somewhere.
I'm not a party person but I wouldn't have let the last year and a half stop me if I were :lol.
Thanks for testing all that stuff.
:lol
A couple used chains, before they moved/went under, were way better than the thrift stores here. They had a real selection, everything was sorted, and the prices weren't much higher.
Good choice :P. Usually box sets are the only classical CDs worth anything (not including SACDs).
