when I try to play burnout 3 all cars are stuck at 30 mph, which makes the game unplayable. when launching from retail disc, it works fine, but I prefer not to have the DVD drive connected.
I have tried pal, riped my own, and NTSC. all with the same issue.
console is a 1.6, with Aladdin XT.
anyone had this happend to them before?
try input control rest or recalibrate your joystick before starting.
and then restart the game/emulator.

I don't understand what you mean, is that somewhere in the Xbox dash?
i assume you are using a controller to play.
what i said is resetting and setting it up before you load the game on the emulator,
get it all nice and comfy, then start your emulator, and your game.
most of the time calibrating done before you game helps you do better in game.
which leads to a happier you.

No, what confuses me is why you brought up emulators?
I can test when I get more time
Last time I done testing though it was for video output in HD but ran everything from HDD
Another words I never actually played the game as I lacked any real interest in it
I use a Modded xbox modded via the software using XBMC as my dash that has it's own fixes for alot of games so is well worth looking to use instead of the evox and whatever the other one was (It's been a little while since I booted the xbox up to be honest)
My copy of the game is a scene release though so may have added hacks done to it
