Gran Turismo 4 iso wont work on PCSX2 0.9.8
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Downloaded Gran Turismo 4 from Emuparadise and PCSX2 0.9.8 both today for first time, also downloaded a pack of the PS2 bios. The system starts working, shows the screen with the disclaimer/warnings, then fades to black and that's it. Here's the log:

tried the 1.0.0 version and it freezes at same spot, played Final Fantasy XII without problems as a test game.
Sound and Game Menu work, driving causes multi-colored squares all over screen.

Try running it with fast boot option, use different GSdx version(SSE2, SSSE3, SSE41) and enable the automatic gamefixes(if it was disabled). Might as well try the
latest SVN.
If that doesn't work, I suggest to download another copy.
I got another copy and it makes it passed the beggining credits, then in gran turismo mode i try to test drive a car or race or anything and the speedometer is the only recognizable thing on the screen. the sound works and i can press start to exit the race, but thats about it the screen is a mess of colored squares. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks for helping me get this far.
