The 2018 EP Video Game Awards!!!!
So here we are at the cusp of the New Year!!! Yay!!!
I thought it would be fun to get everyone involved from the Forums, Facebook and Discord in a little end of year awards voting extravaganza. Like the Oscars but better! And if you want to dress up in a Tux while you vote then all the power to you. I won't judge!
Who knows, maybe make some new friends while we're at it and talk about what we all love..Video Games of course!
We'll be starting off with 4 catagories. 1 for each of the major current gen systems and 1 for the most emulated system this past year. That doesn't mean we can't add more as we go if someone comes up with something viable too like maybe a 3DS poll... I'll also add all the votes for each particular system and that will be the winner for the most popular one. But it doesn't have to end even there! If you have a mention of something in a post for a particular poll thread for example: GTAV and a bunch of people 2nd and 3rd it and so on then that will get a spot in the tally or at least an honorable mention.
I've decided that everyone will get multiple votes per system game voting and just one for most emulated system this past year.
A note on game selection:
I'll explain a bit more in each poll per system but what I tried to do was tally up what I have seen people have been playing alot of over the Forums and Discord and try to come up with a reasonable list. Games are not restricted to being released just in 2018 but it did tend to fall that way by the time I was done. I also tried to stay away from having the same game show up in the Xbox One and PS4 polls - it was much easier for Nintendo. Certain things got shuffled to one system and certain things to the other. The only exception being RDR2 which was so big and played by many on both and just plain couldn't decide.
And if you don't have a current system then vote anyways!!! Maybe it's something you're dying to try out, played at a friends house or a fan of the series. Point is - vote vote vote!
Also a quick personal shout out to Civilization 6 Rise and Fall on PC of which this huge expansion came out early in the year and really changed it to more of a Civ 6.5 and I played tons of it the first half of the year and it's simply fantastic.
I also tried to stay away from the big online and free to play online games since we all know Fortnite would probably win anyways :P
There are basically no rules to this other than the standard forum rules. So please no nude pics of yourselves!!! However feel free to vote whilst nude if you want!?
