Finally found out the game I was looking for since ages ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUM-bXg-Jx4
Shining Tears. I remember playing it at a Gamestop kiosk years ago. The game must have really flown under the radar. It got a sequel, but the sequel was only released in Japan. And it doesn't look like the sequel has a fan translation either. Regardless, being able to play the game again will be nice.
Shining games have never done well here. Tears doesn't have any direct sequel that I know of :thot:.
Edit: My mistake, apparently Wind is supposed to be a sequel but it looks like the relation to Tears is loose.
I played through Tears earlier this year, it was alright. I'd suggest cheating unless you enjoy grinding, same for EXA. I haven't played through Neo yet but, EXA reuses a lot of assets from that and I presume it's also grind heavy.
Well most emulators have a speed-up function, which helps with grinding. True though the Shining series have never done super well here. The Shining Souls games weren't too bad.
:booger:
went to grab some files from 1file I forgot there's a wait limit between dls
booger
What have you been playing?
finished alpha prime the other day it was short and enemies were fucking bullet sponges plus the dfx didn't work right or most of the va's it's too bad because the game had a cool setting it just needed work to be good. started playing unreal 2(it's been a long time since I played that) and been playing a game called ambrosia to feed my jrpg craving.
i was playing starbound but the game just couldn't run fast enough to be playable like a constant 5 fps more and it would have been fine, it really bums me out I liked that game.
