I Need An USB Joystick!
I've put together a C64 emulation and roms in my PC. When I did a search I'm looking at flight sticks which I don't want. The C64 only use one button as well as 8 direction stick. It wasn't easy to use diagonal movements on a game pad.
I found Atari style sticks but very poor ratings so that's out. Then I saw this:

That would be ideal but no one has it in the US. This is like what I'm looking for. Any ideas? If there's a flight stick I could use for the C64 games tell me about it.
Thanks.

You'll need a usb keyboard too, some games need it. I can't think of where you'd find a list but I know Elite needs keyboard buttons in-game as well as the joystick.
As for the joystick you should be able to use whatever, assuming the emu has full mapping functions. Back in the day myself and other kids I knew mostly used Atari 2600 style and also Quickshot joysticks (the old ones that look like an arcade stick with a ball on top).
Don't worry about an extra button or two being there, both joysticks I have for my C64 aren't single button.

I do have an USB keyboard for my Retropie but I'm using my PC to play C64 games instead so it's there.
I remembered I used the Atari stick with my thumb on my C64 that I had an idea so I did this:

Oh wow :lol Does that still work ok? Looks like it would be uncomfortable after a while.

It works fine. Could use a rubber tip though.

Use a small superball? Cut the top off the screw and you can thread it on.
