Help with alone in the dark series sound/music/controls on freebox emulator for android tablet

I've decided to try the alone in the dark series of games listed in the abandonware section and seem to be having a problem with the sound/music. The games dont come with a setup thing to run as far as i can see!
aitd1 has a small menu when i start it that lets me pick what i want to use for sound/music. ive gotten sound to work before using both soundblaster for both but half the time it doesnt work.
for 2/3 does not have this menu and i sadly dont know enough about dos emulation to know how to really fix this problem..
another minor issue is i have an external keyboard that wont really work besides the enter key. this isnt that big of a deal though since my controller seems to be able to work but it would be easier with said keyboard.
if anyone could be able to help me id appreciate it but since its on android/its an obscure game even if you cant really help me some general advice would be useful.
