Can't start PAL Games on NTSC Switched Xbox?

Hi!
My Xbox Classic is running with XBMC (my Xbox is a v1.0 as far as I know) and most of the games are running flawlessly. Only the Lord of the Rings: Two Towers and Return of the King won't start. Everytime I try it, the Screen turn's black and nothing happens.
They only start if I switch the Xbox back to PAL with Enigma Switcher...
Is this normal? I don't want to switch from NTSC back to PAL only for a few games.
I also tried to patch them when copying via DVD2XBOX but that also doesn't helped.

Please Help!

use XBMC to force PAL, alot of PAL games will not work in 60Hz at all not even PAL60

I managed to play almost every english game out for the Xbox without mode switching back to PAL but I mostly used NTSC games so it was mostly PAL exclusives I played with even so I know that some PAL games will never work in NTSC video mode but XBMC lets you choose the video mode for individual games so you can set PAL display modes up easy enough, PAL and PAL60 I know that will not work with all games though mind but it is worth a try before looking for the NTSC release of the game


Both the versions of the games you mention I only played the NTSC version

How do I setup PAL for individual Games only?

Off the top of my head I forget but at the game select screen you press a button other than A while the game of choice is highlighted think it was Y for the start options including video mode, cheats and other options.
