What to do after downloading (no .iso file?)

I’m trying to download my first .iso for emulating PlayStation on my GP XD and my Nvidia shield TV.

The file in question is Ridge Racer but I hope to download many more and become a member here.

However, when I download on my Mac I get a zip file and when I unzip it there is no .iso file included.

Could anyone give me any advice?

What file types did you get? Bin, IMG, ISO are all valid with most emulators. If it's a bin, it should have a cue file that you would use to run it.
If you got an ECM file, you will need to get ECMtools and drag and drop it on unecm.exe

It was a bin, I think, but I’d need to check. Would I need to put this bin and cue file in the Roms folder?

PSX images should not be in iso format anyway

You just run the cue file (bin file is also required)

Depending on the emulator used depends on where you need to store that file/files

For CD emulators roms folders are for containing Bios dump rather than games

Hind roms are dumps of chips CD images are totally different
