Best Version of Populous?

I've recently gotten back into the classic Bullfrog game, Populous. It's a fun little game with a lot of strategy, and it requires some work to learn it and play very well; but the campaign on PC has a solid difficulty curve that makes it constantly both fun and challenging. The version that I know best and that I have played is the 1989 DOS version. So far, I am aware of the following versions of this game:

• DOS
• Amiga
• PC Engine
• SNES
• Genesis / Mega Drive

I'd like to know which one you all think is best.

Oh come on! Like you don't already know that Populous for the Playstation is the greatest thing to happen to a Command&Conquer-ground Simolean~!
