Pokemon fire red won't start.

This may just be me, but my fire red pokemon rom will not start. all other pokemon Roms i have start. i don't know what the problem is. Any help would be useful.

Just you even with the incorrect save settings the game still loads but will corrupt the save (The game actually tells you) and time events will not work without RTC enabled also
