PSP on OpenEmu not running a particular game.

OpenEmu is a terrific program, and it has successfully emulated a few different games on different platforms for me, but for some reason there is one game it has trouble with. In the PSP emulator, I have tried loading Valkyrie Profile, but this always causes the program (the entire emulator) to freeze. I can still press the toolbar buttons (power, restart, etc.), but they do nothing. Even when I use commands on my Mac, nothing works. I can't even shut it down. The only way to get it to restart is to "force quit" out of it. I have run a couple other PSP games with no problems, so I'm not sure what is wrong this time. My computer is a 2012 Macbook Pro. Once again, the game is Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

check the crc of the iso it should be

344D20AF for the US version
F92BB2C3 for the EU version

those CRC values do not apply to cso images that are compressed iso images

if the crc value does not match up then the chances are it is a bad dump of the game

It could be that the game just does not work in the emulator though

I suggest you try it vanilla since openemu just steals from libretro/retroarch code repositories so any mess ups in retroarch are gonna be in openemu.

The libretro/Retroarch port of PPSSPP is just a "tad" out of date so that explains and issues.

Thanks, you were right about this. The problem appears to be with this particular dump. I downloaded the game again from a different site and it works just fine.
