A little help with my Suikoden II ISO...

okay well I'm at the part where you're bringing Miklotov into Muse to see what's going on. I go into the area, see the cutscene but then it cuts off suddenly and the screen goes black. The game is still playing(I can hear it) but the game graphics won't reload. Even when I manage to find my way outta the area the screen just comes out in long coloured striped. I've tried running it with various bios and video drivers. If someone has the ISO and is willing to gimme it so I can try to use that one in case it's a glitch with my own then please send it to me if not then can someone tell me what's going on? Thanks in advance.

will help you get past this point of the game.
If you follow the instructions you'll get it done in no time.

wooho quick reply! Thanks a million, I did the search but all the downloads and craps were expired...I'll try this out now...oh and at the risk of sounding like a n00b SUIKODEN RULES! I'm so glad I got it again my original disk split right down the middle(I throttled my brother) and the only replacement I could get was in german :S

EDIT : Problem though..I'm a complete fool(:P) and need help doing this, even with the readme...what files do I replace with the files I downloaded, or where do I put them....please? Feel free to call me an idiot, but include required info in the post plz! :)

In go into your ePSXe folder, then memcard. You need to replace those. :)

Well I'm still a complete idiot...what does it mean by "my memory card" and what file is "Suikoden 2.mcr"...sorry about the hassle I'm just not too bright :P

No problem at all.
Ok, i'll try to make it clear.

Open ePSXe, go into Config->Memory Card.
Choose Suikoden 2 as your second memory card.

Run the game, go into Coronet Town and save on memory card 2 (Suikoden 2.mcr).

Take memory card 2 (Suikoden 2.mcr) and patch it using the executable file found in the archive.

Once patched, start ePSXe, and let the memory card configuration as is. That's all. :D


P.S. I recommend backing up memcard 1 and memcard 2 before doing anything, just incase it mess up. Hope that's clear.

"Suikoden 2.mcr" is the memcard file :)
Just put it in the Memcards directory.
Then go to the "Config->Memory Card"
If you saved your game on the first memory card then
just replace the second memory card with the "Suikoden 2.mcr"
Then go back to the game, load it and then save again on the empty
memory card you've just replaced. Close your emulator.
Patch the "Suikoden 2.mcr" with the patch .exe file then Run your emulator
again and just load your game from the memory card you just patched.
That's all.

oh okay thanks I just wasn't getting that I was supposed to config blahblah as my mem card I have no idea how this concept works, thanks :)
