The story itself is quite independent with the only connection being some characters appearing in both games. You have to be quite thick if you don't understand VLR without playing 999. They try to draw your attention to 999, in case that you haven't played it, instead of spoiling it.
Now, the sequel to VLR will be much more tied to it's predecessor than the latter to the original game. At least, that's what it would seem seeing how VLR ended..

I still haven't changed the original 320GB HDD for my Slim. I literally have more than a hundred of games there and loads of free space. If I think I'm getting out of room, I force myself to beat and delete some games and that's it.

i have a 500 gig in my 20 gig model with 100 gigs used, however, they are used on games i can no longer play since i dont have ps plus, i miss it because i want to try sleeping dogs.

Skyrim DRM free DLC? Something to keep the mother busy for a few hours. :D

I have no idea how much free space is on either of my ps3 HDDs, but then again I don't really have the internet required to download games so it's only DLC (*GASP*), installs and shit.
