Trouble Installing Games
First off sorry if there is a category that's better for this but I've only tried downloading PS2 games, namely Persona 3 FES and FFXII. Both of these games downloaded as word documents instead of .zip files, is this a known issue and is there a way to fix it?
Also after checking the USA and Europe versions of P3FES on emuparadise the description says they are in Japanese, is there an English version somewhere?
Thank you for any help

How big those files are? If they're big as they should be (about two gigabytes or more), try changing the extension.
As for the English versions, I just searched EP, and there is a European version of Persona 3, and FF12 has some Undub version, which I assume is in English.

How would i change the extension and what would i want to change it to?
I checked most of the versions for P3FES and even though they said Europe or USA whoever made the description said they were in Japanese

If they're Word documents, I assume their extension is .doc. Change it to .zip. If the extensions are hidden on your computer, go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View > de-check "Hide extensions for known file types". (Windows 7, I suppose it's similar in Windows 10).
Try this: https://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Play...Europe)/154044. Description says the game combines elements of Japanese role-playing games, not that the game itself is in Japanese.

The type of file says it is .7z and that it opens with Word. i'm on Windows 10, what should it open with?

You just need to install 7zip. That will give you options when you right-click those files to extract them.
7z is like RAR, it's a file compression type with it's own program.

I extracted the files but there is no .exe file inside to launch the game

It's not supposed to have the .exe extension, but .iso or .gcm. Are there any files in that archive?

This is what it extracts to, idk why it downloads as a word document because the bios i downloaded came as a compressed zip file

You extracted the contents of the iso as well. 7zip will sometimes do this if iso files are associated with the program. Look for an option in 7zip called "file associations" and untick iso. You should have just one file with a .iso extension.
No exe files or installation as these are PS2 games - you need to load them in PCSX2. Load and boot cd/dvd fast.

I've got it to work now, thank your for all the help
