My next consoles to buy this year are the Atari 5200 and 7800. I may break down and get a Nintendo Switch or a NEC Turbo Dou R as well. What is everyone else working with?

I've only owned a few consoles: Commodore 64 (if it counts as a console; I mostly used it for games), Famicom, Mega Drive 2, PS1, PS2.

When I get a well-paid job and make some more money, I might buy some more consoles, both old and modern.

The C64 counts. It has a controller. The N64, SNES, and pre-Jaguar Ataris are all cheap and good starting points.

Definitely envious of a few of those. mainly the Jaguar and Neo-Geo consoles. I just can't justify the prices of those SNK consoles, not counting the games. Even the flash carts are outrageous.
