Noob in need of help with FTP on modded xbox!!

My xbox (softmodded using SID unleash x etc) was working fine , FTP working etc, with original hdd. I used Chimp to clone to 320gb hdd, it seems to be still working as before, except the IP address now just says 0.0.0.0.0! What did I do wrong, and how do I fix it so I can FTP games to the xbox? Kinda sux spending the whole afternoon upgrading to a bigger hdd to have space to FTP games emus etc to it, but I still can't! Will I have to softmod it from scratch again?

IIRC with Unleash X you need to pop into the settings and toggle a yes/no option that was something like "use static IP", then scroll all the way to the bottom of the settings and save. Then reboot and it should auto-obtain an IP address from your router.

Ok found the settings menu, should it be 'Static IP' and not DCHP?
