Can't press buttons in-game after installing 6.60 OFW for PSP

After installing 6.60 OFW for my PSP 3000, and running the Pro Update program to get the Pro VSH Menu, any time I start a game, I'm unable to press any buttons for the game, however I can still press the PS button and quit the game. If I reset my PSP, I'm able to press buttons again, however with the PSX games I got off EmuParadise, it says that the copyright protection information is invalid, with error code (8010850E). If I were able to figure out how to run 6.60 OFW program and be able to press buttons in game that would be great. I'm not sure if there are plugins I could download that would work to fix this; I tried looking them up but most of the information was not being able to press buttons on the XMB screen, and my issue only happen when I play a game.
