Problem MAME 32
Dear friends
First of all sorry for my English, I will try to explain my problem correctly
I have 2 pcs, one 64 bits system and the other a 32 bits system; so I have installed MAME 64 in the first one and MAME 32 in the second (I have installed the last version included in the MAME project web)
With the 64 bits one, everything works perfect. All the ROMs works with any error (I have downloaded Q-sound and Neo Geo roms, so I can run any rom I need)
But with the 32 bits one, I have some problems. I have copied the roms folder, so both MAMEs have the same roms to run; but in the 32 bits system, roms for Neo Geo and Q-Sound don't run (it seems that the roms are incomplete)... It is very strange due to the same roms in 64 bits run perfectly...
I install the MAME 32 bits on the 64 bits computer and happens the same errors... Does anyone know how I can solve this issue?? The problem is that the computer I use to play MAME is the 32 bits one, due to it is connected directly to the TV
Thanks for the help

You can either use an older version of MAME or you can update your rom sets
You can get older gui versions of MAME from http://www.progettosnaps.net/mameui/ both 32bit and 64bit
Our main site roms are based on version MAME 0.164 as far as I know
It sounds like the 32bit version of MAME you have is newer than the 64bit version of MAME (Witrh every update of MAME the roms are redumped sometimes adding new roms and sometimes just changing roms for better dumps, these changes make older rom sets stop work for some games)
either way the gui versions of MAME let you audit each game and it will tell you exactly what is missing or wrong with the set or each game, to audit a game just right click on the game and hit audit, or if you have a full rom set just hit file then audit
