Pokemon black problem

heyo, i'm new to this whole thing so i'm sorry if this is something already fixed and i just cant find it!

I just downloaded a rom for pokemon black to play but my mouse isn't working at all? Is there any reason for this? I was able to use the cursor for playing heartgold so i was wondering if there's something wrong with black or if that's just how the game is?

It may be down to the Emulator your using. Try using 'No$GBA' which opens '.nds' and '.gba' game files. That's always worked fine for me :) Hope i could help.
